We were so happy with last year, we have already booked the same mansion for 2014.
We are already planning several more activities for the mansion and we will have better food. We will probably put tickets up for sale in November. You have a whole year to start saving your monies!

We had to outsource and get someone who wasn't even there to make it for us.
Lost. Complete. Control.
It would have been my greatest creation.
If you can fly Southwest Airlines, it's almost certainly cheaper than any other option. Even if you can't, though... driving that far might cost you less than $500, but probably not by enough to make it worth the extra hassle and time.
At ~$3.00 a gallon(current gas price in San Antonio, which is usually cheap compared to the rest of the country), I'd be looking at a solid $250 in gas for a round trip with ~30 miles to the gallon. Add on another ~2500 miles on my vehicle and 18 hours of driving each way and the extra time you have to take off work/school to account for basically spending 2 extra days on travel?
Driving can suddenly seem much less attractive.
"On the battlefield I am a god. I love war. The steel, the smell, the corpses. I wish there were more. On the first day I drove the Northmen back alone at the ford. Alone! On the second I carried the bridge! Me! Yesterday I climbed the Heroes! I love war! I… I wish it wasn’t over."
@Celestine I love to drive, I'm just not willing to rack up 36 hours, 2500 miles of drive-time, and $300 of gas each way to get to IronCon. Because that's insane.
EDIT: Aaaaand purchased. Better see more of you Imperianites signing up.
