I'm thankful for...

Although we should really be thankful for a lot of things year round, sometimes it takes us a holiday to remind us to reflect and say thanks for all the wonderful things we have in life. In light of the upcoming holiday (at least for some), I wanted to see if we could get some thanks up in here for anything in or out of game, real or made up, whatever. Only positive thoughts here, don't derail my thread with your shenanigans or I'll shove a lightning bolt so far up your butts you'll get free lasik.

I'm thankful for...

• A wonderful community of people who have been really supportive with me lately
• Great players who make logging in worth while. Except @Talbain, that guy is slacking again (I kid, I'm thankful for you, too)
• Getting to see family I haven't seen in years in less than a month
• @Jeremy for sharing my love of zombies and letting me pick on you, even if you won't play Destiny with me
• @Garryn for being awesome incarnate
• @Svorai for everything. Oh my god everything. You do so much and you're awesome, and the faith you put in me means so much some days
• @Eoghan for laughing at my terrible jokes, and wonderful misfortune when it comes to things in general
• @Lazal for being a butt and going along with my schemes this year
• @Nyrohi for also being a butt and going along with my schemes... and letting me have sweet sweet jackal pelts for my throne room
• Everyone else up here who may or may not be nameable for being such freaking awesome little worker bees.
  
• Being  happy(ish), healthy(ish), and alive!

Firstly, I have to say - I love this thread. And @Xuli is absolutely right, we should be really thankful for what we have year round.

I am thankful for:

@Xuli for just being awesome (and for starting this thread).

@Svorai for allowing me to pester her with questions on some ridiculous things (the way I see it - you kind of owe me #HastatiLives).

@Aten for believing in me and recommending me to take a shot at becoming a Guild Leader. I've learned so much thus far and I love doing it.

The Wardancers - in general. I honestly have what I feel is one of the best guilds. My secretaries and their aides (along with others) are on top of their game - always looking for things to do or coming up with new ideas. One of these days, I'm going to have to start making up B.S. tasks to keep them occupied! ( @Septus, @Iroth, @Genviere, @Cordilia, @Ayanna, @Lalaith, @Olorina - to name a few. )

@Ultrix because you are awesome. You're my bestie. I'd do anything for you.

@Iniar for being the best text-husband anyone could have. Your patience, helpfulness, quirkiness...over all - you're amazing. You're a riot. I sincerely enjoy the friendship we've developed.

AM and Demonic - Because I can't list all of you, as this post would be about a mile long, thank you for the different things each of you offer and bring to the table. I have a blast playing in both circles and getting to know everyone. Some special shout outs to people I am especially thankful for...AM: @Azefel, @Khizan, @Kalcer, @Arakis, @Shou. Demonic: @Ahkan, @Caitryn, @Theophilus, @Raziya, @Mathiaus, @Arielle, @Raykel...and anyone else I might have possibly missed, because I'm sure I have. (I'm also thankful for @Cassius - but he's Magick. He should probably change that...)

Bathan

I'm incredibly thankful for finding an adult job this year. This has allowed me to spend less time pondering where rent and food are coming from and spend more time pondering video games.

I'm also thankful that I had the means to help fly my girlfriend over from Sweden for BlizzCon.

I'm thankful that my recent appendix woes were not something more serious. I am constantly terrified my years and years of soda consumption will one day work against me.

I'm thankful that even though I'm not playing Imperian, I keep in semi-regular contact with @Lionas, @Selthis, @Ren, @Apoloc, @Ahkan, @Verexa and others.

I'm thankful that I gave up on trying to be good at Imperian PvP. Doing so has undoubtedly extended my lifespan by 5 to 10 years, and cut down on the likelihood of ulcers by about 400%.

Finally, I'm thankful to be able to donate small chunks of money here and there to those who need it more than I do. There's a real sense of satisfaction in knowing that I'm directly able to positively affect the lives of others, considering I had a couple of people willing to do the same for me not long ago.

Ahkan

I am grateful that I was accepted to graduate school and that it has been such a good fit. I'm also grateful that I am healthy enough to travel all over and meet new and interesting people where we land.  Lately, I'm thankful that I'm able to enjoy my time with my grandparents and my family, who I haven't seen in months.

I am grateful for my circle of friends who keep me sane, motivated, despite my constantly making them "Wtf?" @Aleutia, @Lionas, @Kanthari, @Bathan, @Kanthari @hibou, @Rowynn @Selthis, @Wysrias, @Katalina, @Isadarr, @Ozreas, @Azefel, @Cordilia, @Aralin. I'm also thankful for all the new friends I've made in this weird world that a lot of us call home. Looking at you @Iniar, @Celestine, @Ultrix, @Arakis, @Bellentine, @Caitryn, @Khizan, @Airamaya, @Alesud, @Kira. Even @Mathiaus is starting to grow on me. I'm sure I forgot some people, but you guys know I love ya'll.

I guess I'm thankful for @Svorai and @Eoghan putting up with my ****.

Lastly, I'd like to thank my liver for being a real champ this semester. I love you buddy.

I'm thankful for semi stable housing situations and that C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂ → 6CO₂ + 6H₂O + energy.

I'm thankful that you all put up with me despite my being difficult to get along with.

I'm not dead yet, so that's pretty cool too.

Mathiaus

Even with money troubles, I find a way to support my family and keep food in the house.

I'm grateful for everyone in the Imperian community. Every single person has affected me in one way or another, personally or game wise. I wouldn't have stayed as long as I have without all of you.

Here's to Turkey Day and everything else going on.

I have a ton to be thankful for, but I'll try to narrow down my list.

I'm thankful that @Jeremy took a shot with me, and hired me as a volunteer almost two years ago, then being crazy enough to say "Hey, we like you, how about we make you official."

I'm incredible thankful for @Jesse for being the best Mentor someone could ask for when joining the garden, and pretty much laughing at me as I attempted to figure things out. (There were so many errors...)

I'm thankful for @Garryn for putting up with me on a daily basis, with my stupid questions, and annoyance. 

I'm thankful for my entire Garden family for being awesome. (@Xuli, @Narakis, @Nyrohi, @Eoghan, @Lazal, @onewhocannotbenamed.)

I'm thankful for the entire playerbase, some of you I want to strangle some times, but all in all, you make me feel more than welcomed, and you make me feel like I'm making a difference, even if it's minor. A lot of you are what has kept me from throwing in the towel some days.

Above all else, though. I'm thankful for a wonderful husband, and two beautiful children. 

Thanks guys for making the last two years fantastic, I can't wait to see what this next year has in store for us all : )

After basically 3 months of an ever shifting diagnosis, I finally know what is wrong with my body and have a pathway to stop being in pain. Yay. 

I am thankful for a job that has been incredibly supportive during this, when I've been unable to work at all. 

Also for having the most rockin' mister/s I could have, who spoil me when I'm being a whiny baby and push me into taking care of myself and help out a ton around the house. 

Imperian for being interesting again. 

Also. Mint tea. A working septic tank. 105 Mbps internet.

@Ahkan, @Celestine, and all the other awesome people. Looking at my 2013 thread - there has been a lot less fun for me in Imperian this year; something about changing times etc. Of note would be the battle for Lysha that I started solo and @Menoch, @Kryss and @Linslet attempted to save - most tense battle I've had in a long time.

Other things to be thankful for: Elon Musk, family and a crazy experience with the startup community this year in Sydney.
