March 2015 Update

The main items for this month will be continued work on the cult/sect stuff, the city upgrade, and the major event. We also have to get a bunch of code ready for the ToA next month. More info below.

UPCOMING EVENTS

A major event is planned for March, before the April
Tournament of Ages. I can’t give details, because I do not want to give it
away. We have dropped a couple hints about it in our previous events. It will
be enjoyable and give everyone some opportunities to have fun.

TOURNAMENT OF AGES

April will be our 12th anniversary and we will be host
the annual Tournament of Ages. This year we are working on a new event format.
As we get closer we will release a schedule and more information. One of the
main goals of this year’s ToA will be to make the event more RP focused.

SECTS AND CULTS

Cults and sects had some updates this month this month.
We are working on some additional content for them and you can follow the

CITIES AND GUILDS

We have been working on a reformat for how guilds and
cities work together. All of the detail are in this post on the forums. We will
probably start coding this in the next week or so. Here is the post:

CLASSLEADS

We have a large classlead update coming. Garryn has been
slaving away on this for a while. It will cover several classes including a
large change to Knights and weapons. Look for this within the next couple of
weeks.

CLIENT UPDATE

We have a vastly (and I do mean vastly) improved client that is nearing
completion. It has been completely reskinned and runs much, much faster. Our current
client can be found here: http://play.imperian.com.
Keep your eyes on it.

AUCTION

Our current artifact auction will end Monday. If you have
any last minute bids, you better get them in. We will run another, smaller
auction in a couple of weeks with some different items.

Started a new auction today. It will run for 7 Imperian Months (about 7 days). The items and there 

effects are listed below. We have not done the Angelic Medallion or Demonic Sigil in a while, so I 

am not sure how interested people are in those. If you have any questions, please shoot me a message.

Credit Items

Angelic Medallion

- This item will give you the appearance of an angel. More importantly

  it will randomly raise a single stat from 1 to 3 points. The stat

  type and amount will randomly change every Imperian month.

  NOTE: The medallion's stat buff of the month will not stack with

  a buff given by any other artifacts.

Demonic Sigil

- This item will give you the appearance of a demon. More importantly

  it will randomly raise a single unaltered stat from 1 to 3 points. The

  stat type and amount will randomly change every Imperian month.

  NOTE: The sigil's stat buff of the month will not stack with a buff

  given by any other artifacts.

Sukhder Weapon

- A weapon that can be morphed into any level 3 artifact. You can do this as

  often as needed.

Chests of the Continuum

 - Items placed in this chest will not decay.

 - Applies to items that normally do not decay in a stockroom.

 - Holds 50 items.

 - Will reset where dropped.

 - When beckoned it will reset to inventory.

Wyvern's Collar

 - Gives the owner the use of the vitality ability.

Gold Items

Anklet of Will

 - Gives access to a FORCE ability. This will have a 4 second EQ cost.

Crystehl Whistle

 - Removes the cooldown on pet training entirely.

Foraging Lenses

 - Wearing these special spectacles will remove the time delay on SEARCH

Only L3 morpher up for auction? Would be nice if there was an L2 morpher up for auction as well.

Edit: to be clear, my statement was based on the fact that in the past, there was typically more than one morphing weapon available in an auction. Not that I am not grateful that there is one up for bids in the first instance!

Will the sigil a stack with moradeim and favors?

I hate these small auctions because there's so few items that everybody who wants something is going to want the same thing; the shifting weapon is already above 4k credits.

It stacks with skills and favors. It does not stack with other artifacts that increase stats.
