EDIT ***** Now that it's past midnight GMT, I'll tell you what you're already thinking: This was an April Fool's trick ***** END EDIT
Hello, Imperian!
Now that we've let the dust settle a bit, we want to give you an update on our plans to consolidate the game's population.
We've been pleased with the way the recent organization deletion went, so we've decided to move forward in a big way. Next week, in order to make the world seem more lived-in, and further roleplay, we're going to be deleting the following cities and councils: Antioch, Celidon, Ithaqua, Khandava, and Kinsarmar. All displaced characters will automatically be put into a new city, the Rebuilt Ruins of Caanae.
Along with this new organization, we've decided to bring back the concept of Gods and City Patrons, and have chosen Shallah to be the Patron of this new organization.
We're very excited about this way forward for the game, and the storytelling possibilities it will bring!

In all seriousness, nuke Ithaqua.
(Ring): Lartus says, "Then it exploded."
(Ring): Zsetsu says, "Everyone's playing checkers, but Theophilus is playing chess."

Notably, as with the previous deletion, there will be refunds given for owned properties. Any artifact properties within the organizations will be allowed to move them.
Totally didn't mean to make this sound like a Vahin reference...
On the other, I went through the Hammer event.
But really, it was our April Fools trick. It was intended to be pretty transparent, but I'm sorry to the small handful of people that legitimately messaged me with worry.
